Distracting Daddy

Derrick Pierce's protective nature is too overwhelming for his daughter Karen. She escapes from him with her boyfriend Johnny, seeking help from her friend Miranda Miller. Derrick notices Miranda in his garden and asks why she is there.

Miranda says Karen allowed her to stay at the house. Derrick takes her to the living room to question about Karen's location. Miranda lies, saying Karen is out with friends, making Derrick suspicious of Johnny's intentions for Karen.
