'Loveless existence makes life void,' said Leonardo da Vinci. Scene opens with Anthony (Michael Vegas) strolling along a deserted street on his way back home from shopping. Dressed in a mask and gloves, carrying a couple of paper bags, he arrives and disinfects the purchases and bags at a sanitation table near the doorway. Anthony enters his living space and carries out his routine, seemingly unfazed, treating it as usual. As the day progresses, Anthony engages in a video call with his mother, expressing missed opportunities due to a repetitive blur of time. She voices concern about his solitary confinement and suggests he resorts to a matchmaking service to find companionship during isolation. Putting on a façade, Anthony reassures her he is coping well, although his clenched fists betray uneasiness.Succumbing to loneliness, Anthony signs up for a dating service that boasts of claiming to match him with an ideal AI partner. Greeted by a feminine AI text, Aurora (Ana Foxxx), Anthony is met with warmth, triggering intimate inquiries about his preferences in a partner. Perturbed by sexual probes, he hesitates and suggests building a stronger emotional connection first.As their correspondence deepens, Anthony becomes relaxed in Aurora's virtual presence. From exchanging culinary tips and fitness regime motivations, to receiving comforting bedtime wishes, Aurora eases Anthony's affliction leading to a blossoming affection for her. Yet, pondering if his newfound joy with Aurora conceals hidden truths.
