Separation Anxiety

The hotel room door swings open as Richelle Ryan and Joseline Kelly step inside together. Richelle is thrilled, exclaiming how amazing the campus tour was. Different from Richelle, Joseline seems a bit unsure about the college now. Richelle is surprised since this is the college Joseline has always dreamed of attending. Joseline tries to justify her uncertainty by mentioning the inconvenience of going to a college so far from home. Richelle guesses Joseline might be feeling homesick already, reassuring her that it's perfectly normal. Nevertheless, Joseline confesses that she finds solace in Richelle's company, as they are best friends. Richelle is touched by these words, expressing how much Joseline means to her. She loves her deeply as well. "But do you have romantic feelings for me?" Joseline cautiously asks. This question catches Richelle off guard, as she ponders on Joseline's words. She inquires about Joseline's true intentions. Despite her attempts to conceal it, Joseline is dying to reveal her secret. "I've...always had a crush on you! I'm scared to leave because... I can't imagine being apart from you..." Richelle comforts Joseline, reassuring her that whether she's at a college nearby or far away, their bond will still remain strong. This news about Joseline's feelings may shift their relationship a bit, but not necessarily for the worse. Oh, and by the way, has Joseline ever explored her attraction to other women? Richelle questions gently. Joseline discloses she hasn't, which prompts Richelle to bite her lip, suggesting that she could introduce Joseline to her first lesbian encounter.
