Clout - Scene 3

Miles just got famous for all the wrong reasons. The garage crew won’t let it go. They rib him nonstop while his phone keeps buzzing with thirsty notifications from strangers who saw that clip of him and Hazel. It’s weird enough already, but then Sheen strolls in like he owns the place, ready to hand Miles a contract. Angel watches from the corner, jaw tight, every word out of Sheen’s mouth making her stomach twist. Then the real gut punch hits: a buddy shoots her the clip of Miles locking lips with Hazel and Angel feels something crack wide open.
Out on the sidewalk, Hazel’s still replaying that kiss when a car slows beside her. Celeste leans out, one of Jack’s new dancers, all legs and ink and that same half-familiar smile. They swear they’ve met somewhere before, can’t quite place it, so Celeste just grins and offers her couch for the night. Back at the apartment, Hazel doesn’t waste time saying thanks with her mouth, her hands, her tongue—whatever Celeste wants, she gets it, and the two of them move together like they’ve done it before in another life.
