Micah, portrayed by Seth Gamble, encounters his stepsibling Abby, acted by Tommy King, who appears distressed and clings to him tightly before being led indoors. After settling in, Abby confides in Micah her fear that her soon-to-be husband may abandon her, leaving Micah astonished. Despite pointing out the unpredictability of relationships, drawing from their own parents' failed romance, Micah offers his assistance to Abby in haste.
