The story opens with Gabbie Carter, a caregiver, arriving at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley. They have a cozy relationship as Gabbie has been looking after their children for a while now. As the Kingsleys prepare for their night out, they assure Gabbie that she can indulge in anything she desires - she is a trusted adult. However, they strictly warn her against entering Mr. Kingsley's private office. They reassure her, explaining that they both hold a deep admiration for her and express a desire to include her in their affectionate bond, suggesting a passionate encounter between them.
