Fertile

Throughout history, some may have labeled me insane, but the true debate remains: Does lunacy signify the most profound intellect? Bethany, played by Alina Lopez, yearns deeply to establish her own brood. Every conceivable method has been exhausted by her and her partner, Nathan, played by Tommy Pistol, in their fervent attempts to conceive. Agitation simmers as doubts gnaw at Bethany, pondering if Nathan still exhibits the same commitment as before… Fresh from yet another frustrating consultation with a fertility physician, disheartenment looms heavily.

However, a suspicious pamphlet discovered on their car windshield reignites a glimmer of hope. It touts a solution for successful fecundity. Bethany, despite Nathan's vehement reservations, contemplates giving it a try—a move perceived by him as sheer foolishness.

Disputes escalate, echoes of anguished screams and cascading tears reverberating through the walls… At her lonesome visit to the medical center, Bethany is taken aback by Dr. Angeles's fervent determination to induce impregnation leveraging state-of-the-art technologies in artificial insemination ─ synthetic semen. Anxiety courses through Bethany’s veins, yet the innate longing for motherhood eclipses her unease.

She accedes, obliged to comply with every directive imparted by the enterprising doctor. Boldly venturing down this unknown path, Bethany snuggles into an abyss comprising Dr. Angeles's unsettling medical trials, as enacted by Isiah Maxwell, Steve Holmes, and Charles Dera.
