Perspective: Episode 4

Jennifer slaps eggs onto a plate while Daniel eyes her like a hawk. She plays it cool, asking about his day. Her phone buzzes. Lena's text pops up with tonight's address. Jennifer silences it fast. Daniel says he's buried in work and won't be home till dinner. She mumbles about seeing her girlfriends. He spits coffee everywhere, calls her out for ditching their plans. Shirt's soaked. She runs to grab him a clean one, then freezes. In the corner of the closet sits a heap of clothes streaked with red. She whispers, What the fuck did you do? He strolls in, claims he hit a deer, apologizes, tells her to go out after all. When she buttons his fresh shirt, he grabs her wrist and shoves her hand to his dick. Make it up to me first, he growls. She drops to her knees and takes him deep, big tits bouncing while he fucks her throat. Her mind drifts. She sees him behind the wheel, headlights catching a deer, his face after the hit, another woman's face, blood everywhere. He shoots down her throat, says he's late, and bolts. That night at the clinic, she spills about the bloody clothes. Lena and Dr. Mercer tell her she's staying at Lena's. Later, Daniel jumps the doctor in the parking lot, demands Jennifer's location, beats it out of him. Morning. Jennifer wakes up safe in Lena's arms. A bartender calls. Daniel left his card two nights ago, not the night he said he hit a deer. Jennifer panics and tells Lena to drive to the safe house. The front door is busted. Lena checks inside. Jennifer hears a scream and storms in. Daniel sits frozen on the couch. She tells him she's leaving. He doesn't move. She screams his name. Cops later explain the scene. Daniel lies dead, head wound dripping down the cushions. Jennifer stares at the spreading pool. Five years of hell, finally over. But the bastard still won't let her go.
