Future Darkly: Father Recall

Lucas Frost wakes up in a jail cell, wrists zip-tied, head pounding. No clue how he got there, only that it feels wrong. Guards yank him out, and he’s dropped in front of Dick Chibbles and Chanel Preston. Dick’s stare is pure poison. Turns out the old man wants payback on his stepdaughter’s boyfriend, Bill. Chanel straps Lucas into a mind-swap rig; lights flash, pain rips through his skull, and Dick slides into Lucas’s body like a new suit. Dick gets home wearing Bill’s face. Jaye Summers beams when she sees her “boyfriend,” completely blind to the change. She presses close, hungry, and he takes the cue. They stumble toward the bedroom—hands roaming, clothes yanked aside.
