Right to Refuse

The story begins inside a car late at night. A bunch of adolescents are on their way back from a get-together. Amy, an introverted 18-year-old, is seated in the back next to her close companion Heather.
Heather, who is also 18 but more mature and flirtatious than Amy, is paying attention to a young man sitting next to her, with another at the wheel. They share laughs about the party when suddenly a police car follows and begins flashing lights. The driver suggests they all stay calm and he tries to charm the cop when he rolls down the window.
After checking their IDs and registration, the cop asks the two girls to get out of the car. Anxiously, they comply. The cop questions their ages, where they've been, and if there are any substances in the vehicle.
Heather hastily responds with a denial, but Amy whispers something to her. The cop notices this and turns his attention to her, repeating his inquiry. Nervously, Amy suggests there might be something in her friend's bag.
The cop scowls and turns Heather around, handcuffing her and declaring that she's under arrest. He informs both girls that they'll be given tickets. He tells the boys to hand over the bag and go, they can collect their girlfriends at the station in three hours after the citation.
A feeling of shock and fear passes over the boys, and they adhere to the cop's command, driving off and abandoning the two girls with the officer. Amy clutches the bag tightly. The officer guides the girls into a house which leaves them puzzled.
'Where's the police station?' Amy asks, still holding onto the bag. The cop removes Heather's handcuffs casually and mentions that he had to stop by his place first. He hopes they understand and won't try to leave.
He exits the room. Amy hurries to Heather, who is still rubbing her wrists. 'This all feels so odd, Heather,' Amy remarks.
'Why did the cop bring us to his house? And why did he only detain us?' Heather, appearing uneasy, instructs Amy to stay calm. She clarifies that they were singled out because she spilled the beans about the bag. The cop returns with refreshments and asks them to sit.
He takes out his badge and places it on the table before seeking the bag. Amy objects, asking if he needs a warrant. Heather snaps at her with a smile and hands over the bag, divulging that she might have pills from her mother but that's all.
The cop notices the pills and inquires about their nature. Heather reluctantly admits they're amphetamines she took from her mother's medicine cabinet. The cop shows disapproval and takes the pill bag, remarking, 'Two 18-year-old girls found with their mother's meds.
This could get you into a legal mess and disappoint your families. ' He drinks his beverage. 'Do your families know that you were out late with older guys?' Amy blushes and covers her face in shame.
Heather admits to lying to her folks. The cop chuckles while sipping his drink. 'You know, I stopped you originally on suspicions about that guy's license plate!' Amy shoots her friend an angry look, whispered that she knew those guys were bad news.
Ignoring the outburst, Heather questions the cop. 'Is there a way to navigate through this?' The cop scrutinizes them. Heather attempts to appear bold while Amy retreats on the couch, arms crossed.
'I really should take you to the station,' he says. 'Those guys won't come back for you tonight. You two will probably spend a few days in lockup before a court hearing on bail.
' Amy starts crying while Heather consoles her. She again inquires about a solution. 'Hmm,' the cop muses.
'I have unique tastes. What are you willing to do to fix this mess?' Heather takes a moment to think then offers to gratify him. Amy intervenes, trying to interfere but Heather reassures her they will be fine.
Heather kneels in front of the cop and suggests pleasuring him for freedom. He consents but stipulates that Amy must also engage.
