The next day, his alarmed spouse ventures to the cabin in search of her vanished husband, only to be taken aback by the scene she encounters. Sensing the situation, she contacts the authorities. Meanwhile, Lola seizes Mr.

Davies' firearm and promptly resolves the issue in her own way. With Mrs. Davies out of the picture, Mr.

Davies finds himself entangled not only in an illicit relationship with his pupil but also in a criminal conspiracy and indirectly associated with his spouse's demise. Restraining Lola and assigning Heather to keep watch, Mr. Davies contemplates his next move.

In the meantime, Heather calls her stepbrother, divulging their location. Assuring Lola that he can deal with the situation more effectively than Mr. Davies, the stepbrother and his companion show up.
